Are You Prepared for OAS CAHPS?
After a period of voluntary participation, hospital-based outpatient surgical departments and ambulatory surgery centers will be required to conduct the Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery CAHPS Survey starting in January 2018. HealthStream has been approved by CMS to administer this survey since the start of national implementation in 2016.
OAS CAHPS Survey:
- 37 questions, 8 minutes to complete
- Approved methodologies include phone, mail and mail + phone
- Facilities may add up to 15 questions to the survey

Mandatory Participation Begins January 2018
