Sneak Preview: ALS OB—Improving Quality of Obstetrical Patient Care

Date: Tuesday, March 30, 2021
Time: 12:30 pm CST

We are excited to announce that HealthStream has partnered with St. Luke's Health System to deliver ALS OB training and education. ALS OB is intended to teach how, when, and why to modify the algorithms for advanced cardiac life support (ALS/ACLS) when caring for patients who are pregnant or newly delivered. Nurses at St. Luke's originally created this training and education in 2004 when they determined that all obstetrics nurses needed to have ALS/ACLS training and there wasn't a program specifically tailored to their unique specialty area. Maternal codes are infrequent yet increasing. It is important for care teams to be well prepared. Join our webinar for a preview of the latest edition of the ALS OB program launching through HealthStream soon.
